The Cedar City Rotary Club meets every Tuesday at 12:15 at the Southwest Tech located at 757 West 800 South, Cedar City, Utah, 84720. Fellowship and the buffet starts at noon. The meal is prepared by the students of the Culinary Arts program under the watchful eye of Chef Drew - the cuisine is fabulous!

Note from Rotary President Paul Monroe:  The recent Utah State guidance for Southwest Tech states that in order to focus on students and make learning a priority, non essential visitors and guests will be limited on campus.  In the best interest of the students and faculty, Southwest Teach will delay opening the facility to all third-party events until further notice.  The Rotary will be holding its meetings in other locations until such time.  Please check back here regularly to see where we will be!!  Thank you.

November 24th:  No Meeting - Happy Thanksgiving!!
December 1st:  Christmas Party!! at Iron Springs Resort - Big Yellow Building.  Event will start at 6pm.  Please contact Kathy Johnson at 435-267-3550 no later than November 24th with your attendance and selection of entree (Tri-tip, Chicken or Salmon).
December 8th:  Nathan Hofeling is hosting Dr. Ken Huey, Executive Director of Havenwood Academy.  He will be speaking on early childhood trauma. 

Early childhood trauma is the basis for all kinds of physical and interpersonal dysfunction. This presentation will look at what childhood trauma is, what it does to the human brain, and why that sets us up for lots of difficulties as we grow. We will then talk about how to fix the issues trauma causes. Trauma creates problems but we can survive and thrive with the right interventions, even as adults.

December 15th:  President Paul Monroe is hosting new member introductions.
December 19th:  Wreaths Across America.  Please meet at the Cedar City Cemetery at 1:45pm to begin placing wreaths on the headstones of Veterans at 2:00pm. 
December 22nd:  No lunch - Merry Christmas!!
